towing hybrids

Anyone know if you can tow any of the hybrids 4 down? Don't want to use a dolly.
Thanks

RE: Branson Mo. campgrounds and shows

We've been happy with ABC campground. In fact, we're planning on being there next week.

RE: Has anyone been to the RV/MH Museum & Hall of Fame?

We were there last summer. Nice building and well worth stopping. Makes you wonder what the RV's will be like 50 years from now. They've certainly come a long way.

RE: max weight in campground

I have contacted the campground and got permission to stay there. I don't expect them to weigh the dog, but they do ask for the health records which list the weight. We have no choice in which cg to stay in since we're with a club and all the arrangements have been made. I thought it in our interest to mention it before we checked in. Maybe the fact that we're trying to honor their rules makes us look better. Doesn't hurt to be nice. Someone said 33 lbs is too much for a corgi. Corgis aren't really small dogs, they just have no legs. (smile)

RE: max weight in campground

I thank you all for your comments. I looked up the website of the campground and inquired about their rule. I can't very well change campgrounds as we're going with a camping club and the reservations have been made. Tru's a very well behaved Welsh Corgi and we always clean up after him. I just wanted to touch base with the cg since we're going with a club and don't want to stir up trouble. I agree with y'all, it's usually the little dogs that cause trouble with the barking and so many times the owners think the leash rule doesn't apply to small dogs. We were camping last week at a state park and there were two little dogs running loose.

RE: RV sites in Southeastern Florida (with dogs)

Even tho they lock the gates, you'll get a combination or a card allowing you to re-enter after hours. Enjoy your stay. If we were going to be home at that time, I'd ask you to visit, but if nothing happens to prevent it, we'll be in Alaska then. We're just north of Stuart.

max weight in campground

Has anyone run into a situation at a campground with their dog being over the weight limit? We have reservations in Canada in July and just got the comformation which states they won't take dogs over 30#. Our Tru is 33#. He isn't overweight, but we're going to try to get the 3 lbs off him before then. Guess what I'm asking is: how strict are they? Would they turn us away because of 2 or 3 lbs? Do they actually weigh them or go by the health records which will have his weight on them? I certainly don't want to get us there and have to board him for 10 days.

RE: Homemade Dog Treats

I make "frosty paws" for my corgis. Put a very ripe banana, 1/2 cup peanut butter and 1 8oz container of plain yogurt in the blender. Puree until smooth. If it's too stiff you can add a few drops of milk or water. I pour this into bathroom size dixie cups filling about 2/3 full. Place on cookie sheet and freeze. After frozen dump them into a zip lock bag and keep in freezer until needed. For larger dogs you could fill the cups more. They usually pop right out of the cups. My dogs love them.
